Made for iPhone® (MFi):

These Made for iPhone (MFi) hearing aids are compatible with all accessories and apps except the SoundGate intermediary device and former SoundLink app:

Radiant, Trek, Captivate, and Enchant.

For all hearing aids, we recommend your Apple device has iOS 13 or later.

We have tested MFi functionality on the following Apple devices, running on iOS 13 or above:

Radiant

Bi-directional streaming (hands-free communication) is available with iPhone 11 or later, iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th generation and 4th generation), iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation and 2nd generation), iPad Air (4th generation), and iPad mini (6th generation), with software updates iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2 or later. Hands-free communication requires minimum firmware 1.3.0 on your hearing aids.

 
 

Android:

Sonic Radiant supports ASHA (Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids) and requires Android 10 or higher. With ASHA, you can stream audio from your mobile device directly to your Radiant hearing aids.

Direct Audio Streaming to Radiant hearing aids has been tested on the following devices:

SoundLink 2 App compatibility

The Sonic SoundLink 2 App can be used with Radiant, Trek, Captivate, and Enchant.

Please note that the SoundLink 2 App is compatible with devices running on the operating system iOS 13 or above, and Android 8.0 and above. If your device is not listed, it is still possible for it to be compatible with the Sonic SoundLink 2 App.

Please note that the SoundLink 3 App is compatible with devices with minimum 2 GB of RAM and running on the operating system iOS 13 or above, and Android 8.0 or above. If your device is not listed, it is still possible for it to be compatible with the Sonic SoundLink 3 App.

We recommend that you always update your device to the latest version of the operating system.

SoundClip-A compatibility

 
 

The SoundClip-A device is a wireless receiver and transmitter of sound that can be used with 2.4 GHz Enchant, Captivate, Trek, and Radiant hearing aids.

The Sonic SoundClip-A is tested to be compatible with the following devices:

If your device is not listed above, it is possible for it to be compatible with SoundClip-A if it meets the following requirement: Bluetooth 2.1 or later.

 
 

To pair the SoundClip-A with the Phone Adapter 2, please perform the following steps:

  1. Put the Phone Adapter 2 into pairing mode
    Make sure the Phone Adapter 2 is powered on, i.e., the power indicator is steady green.
  2. Put the SoundClip-A into pairing mode
    Press and hold the multi button AND volume up button for about 6 seconds until status indicator BLINKS BLUE (The SoundClip-A will be in pairing mode for about 3 minutes).
  3. Place the SoundClip-A on top of the Phone Adapter 2
    The pairing takes approximately 20–60 seconds.
  4. Pairing completed
    The power indicator on the Phone Adapter 2 and the status indicator on the SoundClip-A turn steady blue. Pairing only needs to be performed once and normally does not have to be repeated.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

SoundLink App compatibility

 
 

The SoundLink App is used with the SoundGate, an intermediary streaming device, to provide for remote control functions and various additional features.

This app is compatible with Journey and wireless Cheer products in conjunction with the SoundGate.
